To enable more rational water management, the Plantcohydro Waterbag tree watering bag delivers the necessary water for plant establishment very slowly (over 5 to 9 hours), directly to the roots.
Description:
The Plantcohydro Waterbag is designed for efficient water management, whether from rainwater or tap water. This watering bag delivers the water needed for plant establishment and allows deep soil penetration, as water is slowly released over 5 to 9 hours directly to the roots.
Highly economical in terms of water, cost and time, Plantcohydro Waterbags are reusable, help space out watering cycles and prevent runoff. Made from polypropylene, this tree watering bag adapts to the trunk circumference. Its large capacity reduces the frequency of refilling. Multiple Waterbags can also be connected together for trees with larger trunk sizes.
No special tools are required for installation—only a water source to fill it once in place.
First, place the Plantcohydro Waterbag(s) around the trunk with each zipper positioned on either side of the tree. The filling opening should face outward. Then bring both sides together and zip the closure all the way up. If connecting two Waterbags, link them before positioning them around the trunk.
Fill the bag to about one quarter of its capacity, then lift it using the handles so it takes shape. Finally, complete the filling.
Water will then be released gradually over 5 to 9 hours.
