Made from 100% jute fibres, Plantcobio Ecojute is a biodegradable and bio-based needle-punched mulch felt, reinforced with a mesh structure that increases its rigidity and puncture resistance. It is supplied in 25 m rolls on a core tube.

Needle-punched biodegradable mulch felt in rolls

The Plantcobio EcoJute needle-punched mulch felt is made from a blend of plant fibres selected for their performance characteristics. Its structure allows better penetration of rainwater. With its light brown colour, it integrates both aesthetically and functionally into planting environments. It helps reduce weed growth and, thanks to its air permeability, supports a healthy biological balance beneath the felt.

Plantcobio EcoJute, available in 2 widths

Supplied in rolls, Plantcobio EcoJute adapts easily to planting projects. Its high permeability to water and air promotes optimal plant growth conditions. It helps warm the soil early in the season while retaining moisture during dry periods, supporting plant establishment and development.

Plantcobio EcoJute mulch felt is available in 25 m rolls on a core tube, in widths of 1 m or 2 m.

Installation advice:

Biodegradable mulches must be installed on clean, prepared soil. These biodegradable mulches do not provide 100% weed control, so some weed emergence should be expected. Certain weeds may still penetrate through biodegradable mulches, such as bindweed, couch grass and dock.

Avoid walking on the product during installation.
