Designed for urban environments, a planting bed mainly helps facilitate gardening in spaces where direct planting in the ground is not possible, such as balconies, terraces or courtyards. It makes it possible to grow plants, flowers, herbs or vegetables in areas not originally intended for planting, or where the soil is sterile.
A planting bed also allows control over the soil used, which can be essential for plants with specific needs. In addition, it helps protect plant roots by providing a defined space where they can develop without external disturbance, promoting healthy plant growth.
As a decorative element, a planting bed can also be an aesthetic feature in outdoor landscaping, highlighting plants or design elements.
Designed in France, 20 km from our factory, BorderStyle Structural units are made of galvanised steel components assembled to create a bottomless planter or planting bed. Made from 2 mm thick folded galvanised steel, Structural panels are both robust and design-oriented, and are assembled using simple screw fixing. The wide range of epoxy paint colours allows the Structural range to blend into or enhance different design styles (rustic, modern, cosy, unconventional, etc.).
Each panel is available in 3 widths and 3 heights, and the 4 corner pieces are also available in 3 heights. Thanks to this range of 21 different components, a wide variety of assembly combinations is possible.
