Made from coconut fibre, the Plantcobio Coco Net helps protect riverbanks and gently sloped embankments from erosion. Its flexibility allows it to perfectly adapt to the irregularities of slopes. The coco net also acts as an anchoring support for plant roots, promoting vegetation establishment.
Description:
Versatile, the coco net offered by Plantcosol is available in 3 different weights to meet the various needs of riverbanks and embankments with slopes of less than 35°. It effectively helps stabilise slopes by reducing natural erosion and acting as an anchoring support for plant root development. Installing a coco net helps secure the project over time and better control surface runoff by limiting the formation of channels.
Made from 100% natural coconut fibres, these mats are woven to provide high tear resistance. Our three product references also offer strong water retention capacity, helping maintain soil moisture and benefiting plant growth. They provide excellent root support and protection.
No soil preparation is required, as the mesh adapts perfectly to ground irregularities. The coco geotextile is installed directly on the slope, starting from the flat area above the embankment. Positioning the net on the upper flat section helps limit erosion effects. Then unroll it along the slope (less than 35°).
To speed up vegetation establishment, coco net installation can be combined with hydroseeding.
Our three references are supplied in rolls measuring 2 metres wide by 50 metres long.
