Committed to a sustainable future
For many years, the Plantco Group has been working alongside SIMER Sud-Vienne and EIT Sud-Vienne to address the challenges of the ecological transition. Through collaborative working groups, the company develops eco-design and resource eco-valorisation solutions, promoting the efficient reuse of materials.
Our commitments
Environmental Commitments
Environmental commitment is at the heart of our development: we design products that are recycled, recyclable, bio-based or biodegradable to address the challenges of sustainable development.
This approach extends to our industrial operations, with a production site that is self-sufficient in electricity thanks to 2,300 m² of photovoltaic panels, and our involvement in EIT Nouvelle-Aquitaine to promote the recovery of industrial waste.
Social Commitments
We support the talent of tomorrow by taking on apprentices and work-study students, whilst promoting the ongoing training of our staff.
Committed to workplace inclusion, we also work with ESAT André Rideau, a local partner with whom we regularly carry out various projects at our production site.
Local Commitments
The Plantco Group prioritises short supply chains, local partnerships and the circular economy to create value within its region. Through its involvement with EIT Nouvelle-Aquitaine, its collaboration with local manufacturers and its participation in the Sud-Vienne Entrepreneurs’ Club, the Group actively contributes to the development of a sustainable and responsible local economy.
Our innovations
Innovation is part of the Plantco Group’s DNA. As an integral part of our design office, our Research & Development department devises new solutions to respond to changes in the landscaping market and anticipate the challenges of tomorrow, whilst ensuring the continuous improvement of our products. Every year, 3 per cent of our turnover is invested in R&D to offer our customers solutions that are ever more effective, sustainable and innovative.
Choice of materials & sustainability
Within the Plantco Group, our choice of materials is guided by a simple objective: to ensure the performance, durability and reliability of every solution. We select the materials best suited to each application, whilst incorporating bio-based materials where appropriate in order to address environmental challenges and meet expectations for more sustainable outdoor landscaping.
Manufacturing & Procurement
The Plantco Group relies on a network of 12 partner factories, most of which are based in France, with which it builds long-term relationships founded on trust, innovation and collaborative development. This industrial proximity, combined with a close working relationship with French hauliers, ensures quality, responsiveness and control over both our supply chain and our shipments.
